Local Car and Van Hire in Bournemouth

With its wide expanse of sandy, golden beaches and chalk cliffs, Bournemouth has become one of the largest seaside resorts in Dorset. Originally a fishing town, this seaside resort is a favourite with travellers in and outside of the UK.

This is a place known just as much for its Victorian charm as its shopping centres and Grade II listed Victorian Gardens, and for having the UK's first and only coastal activity park. Visitors also come here to see the wildlife by visiting Jurassic Coast, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Enterprise branches are located at Southampton Airport, which gives easy access for travellers arriving at or departing from the airport, Christchurch (107 Barrack Road), Poole (510 Ringwood Road) and Ferndown (441 Wimborne Road ). The Christchurch branch is the closest to the city centre and may be more convenient for those in and around that area.

Driving Information in Bournemouth

For somewhere that is a busy seaside resort, there are still plenty of places to park around Bournemouth. For example, Bournemouth Pavilion car park has a good number of car parking spaces, and there is also on-street parking available.

In the summer months, there is an influx of visitors to the Bournemouth area. For this reason, roads such as the A35 leading into Bournemouth may get a little busier. The best way to get around this is by planning your journey to avoid the common rush-hour periods.
