UK Airports Car Hire FAQs

None of our airport branches are open 24 hours for pick ups, however many have a dropbox for keys if you need to return your hire car after hours.

If you have pre-paid online, you just need to bring a driving licence to the rental counter. If you are paying in branch, you'll also need a credit card.

If you are on a late flight and need to drop your car off outside of branch hours, let them know at the branch and they will tell you where the dropbox is to return the keys.

On arrival at the airport, follow the directions to the car hire returns area where you will be greeted by one of our employees. Make sure you are clear about the fuel policy you have opted for, so you are not charged extra.

Yes this is possible within the same country so, if you are flying out from a different UK airport, you can drop your hire car off at the Enterprise branch at your departure airport.

The more details you give in advance, the quicker the transaction time at the counter. If you have already pre-paid online you won't need to pay at the branch, which should speed things up a bit, depending on how busy things are on the day.
