Since 2004, it has been recognised as a "Grand Site de France" for its French natural heritage. It offers hikers a wide range of tourist and religious activities. There are paths leading to the Sainte-Victoire priory, the Ermitage Saint-Ser and the Cross of Provence on the western end of the range. At its highest point, Pic des Mouches, you can enjoy a magnificent panorama of Provence and the plains of the Pays d'Aix.
